Emergenciy setting ,especially where population are displaced from their home,can exacerbate the spread of VIH. 
Disruption of social networks that safe-guard social behavior ,transactional sex ,heightened risk of sexual assault and exploitation are all factors that may predipose vulnerable group(women and children)to Hiv infection. 
 
Adolescents may begin sexual relation at an early age ,women and children may be coerced into having sex to obtain their survival need and during times of civil strife they are especially at increased risk of sexual violence including rape .And , in internally displaced person setting people from low HIV ares may mix with populations from high prevalence ares,increasing the over all HIV rate in the region.
